Sherry is one of only five women who have served as the Director of the Alabama Banking School since its inception in the 1970's. With more than 20 years of banking experience she is dedicated to excellence and believes her role in the community is to be a connector of people and resources.\n\n \n\nShe is committed to the mentally ill of our community and has successfully coordinated the Basic Needs program for members of the community living in transitional homes for the mentally ill. She has coordinated the building of a Therapeutic Garden for a group home in Theodore\, AL which offers an outlet for those who are suffering with diseases of the mind. \n\n \n\nSherry has been married to her husband Ray for fourteen years and she says the luckiest woman in the world. Together\, she and Ray are parents to 6 adult children and are now the proud grandparents of four little darlings\n\n \n\nSherry majored in Media/Mass Communications at East Tennessee State University and was recognized as one of the Rising Stars of Alabama Banking in 2015. She has served as a Board member for the United Way\, Ozanam Charitable Pharmacy and is currently serving as a "Shucker" for the American Cancer Society's upcoming . "Shuck Cancer" event.
