DESCRIPTION:Join us for our quarterly Lunch & Learn hosted and sponsored by Women's Resource Center\n\n \nLunch & Learn with the Women's Resource Center\n\nJoin us for an engaging Lunch & Learn with the Women's Resource Center (WRC) as we share how our organization serves the community through our three core pillars: Prevention\, Intervention\, and Empowerment. This session will highlight our Empower to Thrive (E2T) program\, which brings Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA) education into local schools equipping students to make informed\, healthy decisions about relationships\, sexual integrity\, and personal wellbeing. Unlike Comprehensive Sex Education\, which focuses on risk reduction\, SRA prioritizes risk avoidance empowering youth to set goals\, build character\, and pursue their future free from avoidable barriers. We'll also share updates on the Alabama SRAE Coalition and current legislation\, including SB3\, that supports this vital work. Finally\, discover practical ways to get involved by volunteering\, connecting us with schools\, contacting your senator\, or attending our Gala in March.\n\n\n\n\n*REGISTRATION REQUIRED FOR LUNCH.\n\n\n\nLunch served at 11:30\, meeting starts at noon.
