ALABAMA SMALL BUSINESS COMMISSION TO HOLD PUBLIC LISTENING SESSION FOR MOBILE AND BALDWIN COUNTIES
ON JANUARY 29th
The Small Business Commission, a state panel that recommends policies and legislation benefiting small businesses operating across Alabama, will hold a listening session on Wednesday, January29th, and members of the public are invited to attend and share their ideas.
The event will take place at the Five Rivers Delta Resource Center, 30945 Five Rivers Blvd., Spanish Fort, AL at 10 a.m.
Lt. Gov. Will Ainsworth chairs the panel and has statutory authority for overseeing the commission and the work it conducts.
“As a small business owner, I have firsthand experience in dealing with the obstacles that government bureaucracy, nonsensical tax policies, cumbersome employment laws, and other factors place in the path of job creators,” Ainsworth said. “The Alabama Small Business Commission was created in order to remove those obstacles and provide small business owners with the tools they need to prosper, grow, and hire new workers. I encourage any small business owner with concerns or ideas to attend this listening session and share their thoughts with the commission.”
Members of the media are also encouraged to attend.
