Jillian Stewart Mosley has been a long- term resident of Saraland. She is married and has 4 children. She obtained her bachelor's degree with a Major in Criminal Justice and Minor in Psychology from The University of South Alabama in 2003. She returned to South Alabama for graduate school and obtained a master's degree in Community Counseling in 2010. She obtained her LPC license to provide counseling services in the State of Alabama in 2015. She has been working in the mental health field for 13 years. She began her counseling career with Altapointe where she worked for 6 years between children and adult in-patient services. She worked as a Mental Health Director for 3 years at Mobile County Metro Jail. She also spent one year working in an opiate addiction program providing counseling for addiction and other mental health disorders. In 2021, she became the owner and founder of Finding Peace Counseling Services, LLC here in Saraland. She finds it rewarding to be able to provide this much needed service to members of our community.
Dr. Mike Hoppe has been the lead pastor of Stillwater Church in Saraland for the past ten years. One value at Stillwater is its outreach to the community, where thousands of residents are touched by Stillwater's major Food Pantry ministry and Backpack Ministry in the local schools. Dr. Hoppe is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary (M.Div) and Asbury Theological Seminary (D.Min). His wife, Reed, serves at Alpha, an international evangelism ministry. Together they have two teenage children, Susanna and Samuel, who attend Saraland schools. Dr. Hoppe served as Saraland Civic Forum's Citizen of the Year for 2020.
Dr. Jonathan Dean is board certified in Family Medicine. He has 11 years of experience as a physician caring for families from birth to the end of life. After practicing in North Alabama for 7 years, he was very excited about coming home to the Mobile area! He was raised in Mobile and went on to attend college in Arkansas at Harding University. He attended University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Medical School where he was top 10% in his class. He completed his residency in family practice at UAB in Huntsville. Outside the office, Dr. Dean and his wife, Monica, enjoy time with their seven wonderful children, traveling, and serving with international ministries around the world.
